The Luxy Hair – Clip-In Curtain Bangs Launch Campaign was designed to introduce Luxy’s newest product through bold editorial storytelling and playful visual communication. By centering the campaign around cheeky messaging, elevated layouts, and the introduction of a deep red accent color, we differentiated the launch from evergreen assets while remaining authentically Luxy—confident, elevated, and full of personality. Nostalgic, retro-inspired imagery paired with bold typography and high-fashion design cues created a balance of wit, sophistication, and modernity, capturing consumer attention across visual touchpoints. The result was a visually striking, high-fashion campaign that strengthened brand identity, captured consumer attention, and carved a distinctive space for Luxy within the competitive beauty market.

  • Luxy is the #1-rated ready-to-wear hair extensions brand, redefining the category since 2010 through sustainability, inclusivity, and a mission to inspire confidence and play. This project showcases the launch campaign for Luxy’s Clip-In Curtain Bangs—an introduction of a new product through cheeky messaging and bold, editorial design. The campaign’s playful yet elevated creative direction carved a space for Luxy within the oversaturated beauty market, strengthening its identity through striking visual storytelling. A deep red accent was introduced to the brand palette to stand out from evergreen content, enhance seasonality, and underscore the campaign’s confident, high-fashion tone.

  • Design campaign assets for the launch of Luxy’s new Clip-In Curtain Bangs, translating the creative direction and brand identity cohesively across all channels—including ecommerce, paid ads, organic social, and email. Intertwine the campaign accent color throughout designs to differentiate from evergreen assets, highlight cheeky messaging through bold editorial typography, and leave a lasting impression on both new and returning customers. To achieve a high-fashion, editorial look, utilize unique layouts, playful typography, and bold compositions that blend seamlessly with Luxy’s existing color palette and design language, ensuring every asset remains distinctly Luxy.

  • Luxy’s target audience is divided into two key groups: the core demographic of millennials aged 25–45, and new customers seeking solutions for thinning hair, including older millennials and Gen X. This campaign primarily targeted the core audience—trend-aware consumers who appreciate cheeky messaging, bold editorial design, and striking visual stimulation—while still resonating with solutions-focused customers through elevated, lifestyle-driven visuals that highlight product quality and strengthen the brand story.

  • This campaign aimed to inspire customers to embrace the playful, versatile nature of Luxy’s products by highlighting the ethical, attainable nature of everyday beauty through bold editorial design. Recognizing that Luxy’s audience values sustainability and elevated aesthetics, the visual solution intertwined vibrancy, confidence, wit, and inclusivity through composition, imagery, and typography—empowering everyone to cultivate a sense of abundance and play.

  • Focusing on cheeky messaging and bold typography allowed the campaign to stay trend-relevant and resonate with Luxy’s younger audience, while the consistent deep red accent created a playful yet elevated visual contrast. Striking, retro-inspired hero imagery paired with modern editorial compositions balanced nostalgia with contemporary wit, engaging new, solutions-focused customers. Through full-bleed headlines, bold typography, and dynamic use of scale and negative space, each asset felt imaginative and editorial while remaining distinctly Luxy. This design-focused approach not only captured attention across media but has also carved a unique space for Luxy within the oversaturated beauty market.
